What this site does
nooranibrowser.com is a static marketing site. It sets no cookies. It runs no JavaScript analytics. It does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or any persistent client-side storage to track you. It does not send data to any third party while you read these pages. You can verify this with your browser's developer tools — the network panel will be brief.
The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. Google's font-serving CDN does see your IP address when your browser requests a font file; that is a property of how web fonts work on any site that uses Google Fonts. If this bothers you, most browsers let you block it; Noorani will ship its own self-hosted font fallback in a future release to eliminate this entirely.
What the Noorani browser does
When you use the Noorani browser to visit other websites, those websites may set cookies on their own domains. That's between you and them, not us. Noorani respects your cookie choices — cookie blocking, third-party cookie blocking, and clearing cookies on exit are all available in settings. Third-party cookies are blocked by default in Noorani.
If we ever add analytics
We don't currently use analytics on nooranibrowser.com. If we add them later, we will:
- Use a privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics service such as Plausible, Fathom, or Simple Analytics — never Google Analytics or similar;
- Update this page with the service name before collection begins;
- Limit data to aggregate metrics (page views, referrer, country) with no individual identification;
- Retain for no more than 90 days.
Any such analytics would be used to understand which pages people read, not to profile visitors.
Third-party embeds
This site embeds no third-party content that sets cookies — no Twitter widgets, no YouTube iframes, no Disqus comments, no Intercom chat, no Facebook pixels. If we add any in the future (e.g., a video of a launch event), we will:
- Use a "click-to-load" placeholder that doesn't trigger the third party until you choose to load it;
- Disclose the third party on this page.
Your choices
You don't need to do anything. There's nothing to opt out of. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we honour it as a matter of principle, though it's not applicable here because we don't track anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "Effective" date is updated and the change is announced in the release notes for the site version that introduced it.
